Victoria and Albert (V&A) museum

What? This is the World’s largest museum for decorative art and design, with a collection of over 4 million artefacts including ceramics, furniture, jewellery and paintings. Entry is free.

Where? Cromwell Rd, SW7 2RL. The nearest underground station is South Kensington.

From the Hotel The easiest way to get to the Museum from the Hotel is by Underground. Exit the Hotel, cross St George’s Drive and walk straight ahead onto Warwick Way. At the second set of traffic lights take a left onto Wilton Road and walk all the way down to Victoria station. From here take the District line westbound to South Kensington. Follow the signs from the station to the Museum.

When? Open Monday to Sunday 10am to 5.45pm, except Fridays from 10am to 10pm.
