Science Museum

What? A collection of over 300,000 items including the first jet engine, a reconstruction of Crick and Watsons DNA structure and some of the first steam engines ever built. Throughout the museum you will find galleries dedicated to all aspects of science including space, medicine and flight. Entry is free. Charges apply for the IMAX 3D cinema, simulators and some special exhibitions.

Where? South Kensington, SW7 2DD. The nearest underground station is South Kensington.

From the Hotel The easiest way to get to the Museum from the Hotel is by Underground. Exit the Hotel, cross St George’s Drive and walk straight ahead onto Warwick Way. At the second set of traffic lights take a left onto Wilton Road and walk all the way down to Victoria station. From here take the District line westbound to South Kensington. Follow the signs from the station to the Museum.

When? Open every day from 10am to 6pm (last entry 5.15pm). Open till 7pm during school holidays
